The Cardio Twister is another highly popular exercise machine. The idea is basic which is always a good thing. The Cardio Twister allows you to twist while doing a mild stepping action. I used to to use a broom handle on a bench to do a similar exercise. Twistng from side to side I was able to work on getting my love handles to a reasonable size. This twisting motion is very similar to what the The Cardio Twister is an upright machine similar in size to a stair master. However the price point reflects a smaller machine that is not as durable as a commercial machine.

A Commercial machine you might see at a health club costs well over $1000 sometimes over $3000. So when using the Cardio Twister I would not expect some high end, indestrubtable exercise machine. Given teh price, while not expensive its not a $20 thigh master either. So, I have read allot of other reviews and it seems that the mechanics are the one thing you just need to be careful with. Super heavy people should not use it. And as long as you are smooth and perform the exercises correctly this machine will work your love handles, strengthen your core and work your legs, lultimately giving you a strength building exercise along with burning some calories and getting that cardio workout that we all most definately need.

So, to continue with the good and the bad…….. I guess you should always start with the positive. Its a good product to get a good workout on. Im not to into exercising maybe a bike ride or walk or such. I’m 33, just not real ambitious, I wanted something i would keep up with. So that being said i love this its fun and a good workout. the first week i could only do @ 15 min (thats @800 steps) which i saw as pretty good for a start. then i got up to 30 and am now doing the workout it came with. Its a good workout it works your butt and calves, and thighs. Im 6′1 so the waist thing is weird because i really have to lean over to turn the handlebars.. so not sure about that if your really tall like me. but the bottom half really feels it and im still on the basic level of the machine. you can make the resistance harder if you need to. Now the bad.. we go the machine and it came with wrong pices and the chains to make the pedals move were off and it took @ 3-4 hours for us together to get it working. If you are good at fixing stuff its no problem but if not i would probably not buy this item, being if i didn’t marry my husband I would of returned the thing. It was a Mess! and it only goes to 250lbs and I wouldnt push that at all, being you will probably slip the chain again. I keep having to re align it so I am not real sure how long it will stay together??? but i do like the idea of it, so i hope it holds up. So thats my 2 cents for anyone who wants to know! =)

I donated my eclipse, total gym, cycle for this little twister that works for me. This machine actually made my muscles ache all over the first week, but i just have to keep going until my body get used to it and i really love it….i am at 700 steps daily my goal is 1000 steps daily…i think if you do not abuse it this is a pretty cool machine….

I got it about three weeks ago and it’s already starting to cause troubles. It’s very cheaply made and it makes quite a bit of noise. I live in an appartment with paper thin walls and floors so it annoys me to have a piece of equipment that is so noisy. In any case, I decided that at the price I pay for it, I would continue to use it. But now the bellows won’t stay inflated through the whole workouts. The one good thing I can say about Air Climber is that the workout videos are challenging and somewhat fun. It makes the time go by fast. And you feel like you had a good workout in the end. But I have to say that Brenda Dygraf is probably the most annoying instructor I’ve seen so far. Her constant “wooohooo” “come on” “here we go” get tiresome after a while. And the music is nothing to write home about, so now that I’m familiar with the routines, I actually put the DVD on mute and put my own music. It is kind of fun, but as far as results, there are many cheap alternatives. Esp pilates, ballet -even skipping rope. it’d be cheaper to go to the gym and run on the treadmill or cross trainer (epp machine).
